DDC Series – 12 VDC Centrifugal Pumps
Designed for OEM applications such as thermal management, laser cooling and medical equipment
The Laing DDC is an electronically switched spherical motor pump, with an estimated service life of 50,000 hours, when the pumped liquid is water or a mixture of water and glycol. * Please contact us if you need information about other media. The only moving part in a spherical motor pump is a spherical shaped impeller/driver unit, which rests on a very hard, wear-resistant ceramic ball. The conventional shaft, shaft bearings and shaft seals have also been eliminated. The spherical motor design allows for economical operation with a comparatively high output. Varying the supplied voltage provides a simple means of controlling the DDC pump speed over a large output range. All parts in contact with the medium are 100% corrosion resistant. With an optional tachometer output.
