Position Summary:
The Marketing & Events Specialist is an integral part of the marketing team, bringing strong creative skills to a wide range of marketing initiatives, including visual content creation, social media, digital marketing, and event coordination. The specialist plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing the brand’s visual identity across all platforms and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong creative skills and practical experience using modern marketing tools and platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIRED FUNCTIONS
- Revise and update existing marketing materials (digital assets, manuals, brochures, datasheets) across all brands using Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong focus on brand consistency, while contributing creative input to refine and evolve designs over time.
- Support digital marketing initiatives by updating WordPress websites with fluency, contributing to UX design improvements to enhance overall user experience, implementing SEO best practices, demonstrating familiarity with Google Ads, and assisting with social media content efforts.
- Collaborate as a team with project managers, US and international sales teams, and internal departments across brands to support marketing needs, coordinate product launches, and manage internal communications.
- Maintain protected areas of our site gated only to our sales channel partners. Manage its content and control distributor access and login credentials. Update distributor locator.
- Support the creation of distributor newsletters and announcements through the use of email marketing platforms to support communication and engagement efforts.
- Create and maintain online input forms using form-building platforms to support data collection and workflow processes.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to explore and apply AI-driven marketing tools, contributing fresh ideas to leverage emerging technologies.
- Photograph products and edit as needed for marketing and promotional use.
- Assist with shared creative marketing tasks and projects as needed.
Trade Show & Event Management:
- Manage all trade show logistics; coordinate timing of booth graphic design, staging and breaking down of booth prior to shipping, oversee packing and shipping, and unpacking event materials.
- Support event marketing efforts by creating social media content and coordinating engaging pre- and post-show announcements.
- Maintain inventory of marketing collateral, giveaways, demo equipment, and trade show supplies, ensuring readiness and timely restocking.
- Coordinate in-house distributor training by assembling giveaways and printed materials, organizing training resources, and designing completion certificates.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires a background in marketing, business, or a related creative field with 3–5 years of relevant experience. Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for content creation and visual communication.
- Strong creative skills are essential; a portfolio showcasing relevant work is suggested.
- Hands-on experience with content management and updates in WordPress.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization.
- Skilled in social media marketing platforms and tools, with hands-on experience creating, scheduling, and managing content.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 60 pounds for event setup and support, with or without reasonable accommodation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related creative field preferred.
- Marketing operates on macOS. Comfortable navigating both Windows and macOS is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects is an advantage.
- Portuguese language proficiency is a bonus but not required.
